One of the best and most timely resources that I know about is Objectif France’s bi-weekly prayer letter (20 euros for a year-long subscription via e-mail). You can order it here – choose your location and then select “Ab annuel lettre hebdo par mail.”

Traditionally, France has been more inclined to support Israel’s neighbors – whether through silence or actively endorsing/encouraging these other nations. But things have changed radically since Sarkozy has taken the presidency. An outspoken supporter of Israel, he is the first president to address the CRIF (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France).

Is this the beginning of revival? We know that God can only bless those nations that support Israel – there is no other option. (For those readers who may not be totally convinced of this please visit We Bless Israel – it’s a wonderful explanation of Scriptural basis for blessing this nation and God’s covenant with this nation).
In short, I have been blessed, humbled, and extremely encouraged by this recent prayer campaign! From meeting many individuals who all have a heart and passion for France to seeing God move in wonderful ways (visit the CCFOF’s website to learn more), I felt very privileged to see a glimpse of what God is continuing and the NEWness of what He’s doing.
One aspect of this campaign that I feel has really stood out has been the UNITY among believers.
